Case study – PBS
Client: PBS
Location: Aberdeen, UK
Restrata was appointed by PBS Offshore to provide outsourced 24/7 Emergency Response services to meet the requirements for a flagship operations and maintenance project in the UK.
PBS is an Aberdeen-based consortium formed of Ponticelli, Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services and Semco Maritime, led by Ponticelli.
Restrata began the project by developing Emergency Response plans tailored to the PBS organisation. Following the development of the plans, Restrata enacted 24/7 outsourced Incident Management team, Relative Response and HR Meet and Greet services, with inclusive access to Restrata Platform.
Restrata has also developed additional procedures to support the management of the Covid-19 impact throughout the pandemic by delivering ad-hoc training for PBS Duty Managers and Family Liaison representatives.
By using our services and software, Restrata has ensured:
- PBS has a robust and competent Emergency Response process
- PBS has dedicated access to Restrata Platform to allow them to respond quickly and effectively and safeguard their people
- Ongoing training, exercising and improvement alongside their client
“PBS recognised the importance of having a fit-for-purpose, resilient and capable emergency response function and we engaged with Restrata to help us build this. Since then, Restrata have been a key partner of PBS and have assisted us with document and process development, training and exercising as well as providing 24/7 support to our Duty Managers and other onshore teams. This allows for effective management of incidents ranging from routine medevacs to specific Covid related responses. PBS will continue to work with Restrata so that we can protect our people, the assets they work on, the environment and our reputation.” Graeme Christie, QHSE Lead
